Jenna Vermost
OWNER & FOUNDER
Hi there! My name is Jenna and I am a young designer from the small town of Geneseo, Illinois. I Graduated in 2020 from the University of Northern Iowa with my degree in Textiles and Apparel, Go Panthers!
I have dreamed of becoming a fashion designer from a very young age. At 8 years old, I was gifted my Granny's old sewing machine and I have been practically glued to it since. I became hooked on the excitement and beauty of creating.
Along with creating custom garments, I provide alteration services. I have experience with a vast range of apparel types, specializing in bridal and evening wear. I strive to make people feel most confident and comfortable in the garments they are wearing. This aspect of what I do is very rewarding and motivates me to continue to design for people and help them create the looks they are envisioning. I hope to be able to work with customers in designing and alteraing clothing that best suits who they are and how they desire to look.
Why Bridal?
I was one of those little girls who would sit and dream about the day I would get to walk down the aisle. I am sure many can relate! One of the things I looked forward to the most (apart from the groom) was, of course, the wedding dress. I filled notebooks with sketches of potential future wedding dresses, spent hours on Pinterest creating wedding dress boards, and watched countless episodes of "Say Yes to the Dress". You could say I was obsessed!
As I gained more experience and worked on a variety of garments, I found that I enjoyed making gowns the best so that is where I focused my creative endeavors. A wedding dress is one of the most special dresses one will wear. As a designer, it is such an honor to be part of creating something that will be remembered by a bride for the rest of her life.

Gracie McAvoy
ALTERATIONS MANAGER
Gracie first learned to sew at a young age after watching her grandma mend a pair of her grandpa's socks. From that moment, sewing remained a steady thread through her life. Her skills were exponentially improved through her four years in the Illinois Wesleyan School of Theatre Arts Costume Shop while she majored in English Literature and Secondary Education while minoring in Theatre Arts. After college she kept up with her skills by altering and designing costumes for Madrigals and musicals while teaching. Summer of 2023 she worked for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival costume shop as a cutter draper. In summer of 2024 she was a costume designer for Festival 56's production of Urinetown while being an extra set of capable hands in their costume shop, and looks forward to working with them for the 2025 season!
Gracie has been working at Jenna Eden Designs since August of 2023 and has loved working in such a collaborative and supportive environment.
